I love to knit and I can't remember a time when knitting hasn't been a part of my life - even as a child I would knit my own doll's clothes. However, there came a time when I didn't want commercial yarn in the thicknesses, colours and composition that were available, so I learned to spin.

I like colour and I experiment with spinning and dyeing, hence most items are one of a kind - some can be reproduced, but they will not be identical - all are of high quality and come with care instructions. Enjoy looking!

Use handspun or hand dyed yarns to personalise a garment made from commercial yarn - add a stripe, use it for cuffs, it’s all in your imagination. These yarns also make great scarves, beanies and wraps; alternatively, yarnoholics might just like to have a few in their stash.

Each skein of hand spun yarn is unique and may differ slightly from its companion (even if spun and dyed at the same time).  When using multiple skeins work 2 rows from one skein and then 2 rows from the next carrying the yarn loosely up the side to minimize the appearance of the differences.
