About Us

Creative Bugs was inspired by a genuine love and passion of all things creative.

Realizing that the age old crafts of knitting, crochet, sewing, felting and weaving are far too often lost amongst families in our busy technological world, we have decided to utilize technology to bring back creativity and kids connecting.

These wonderful crafts provide children with valuable skills and knowledge, as well as the opportunity to work with others and form friendships. There is nothing like making something yourself out of basic materials or making a gift for someone else.

With our mascot "FibreFly" we hope to inspire and ignite creative passion in today's children with simple beginner craft kits, accessories, hand-knits and hopefully some funky kids fibre craft books to come in the near future :)

We will also offer children the opportunity to share their projects with FibreFly and other kids on our Creative Bugs website (which is coming soon)a place for crafty kids to connect.

Hand knitted items for sale in my store are all hand knitted by me personally. The appropriate permissions and licensing have been obtained from the designers of these patterns.

These include the Ulli Beanie by Ulli S. Shibuya and Various Hat designs by WoollyWormhead.com As new items are added, designers names will be credited here.

All my handknitted items will arrive to you labelled with the appropriate recognition given to these amazing designers.

Creative Bugs accepts direct bank deposit, paypal, cheque and money order as options for payment. All orders are dispatched upon receipt of payment. For Cheques/Money Orders dispatch occurs once funds are cleared into our account.

We use Australia Post for shipping and will not be held responsible for parcels once they are dispatched from us. We do not offer insurance on postage unless specifically requested, so please contact us if you would like this option. Express Post options are trackable.

Shipping cost will be calculated when your order is received and a final invoice will then be sent to you requesting payment.

Whilst we believe you will be 100% happy with items purchased from our store. Returns will be discussed on a case by case manner. Please contact us immediately if you are not entirely happy with your purchase.
