STORE POLICIES

PAYMENT
My preferred method of payment is direct debit but I also accept paypal and money orders. Items will only be posted AFTER payment is received.

LAYBY
I will happily accept laybys for items in my store. I require a 10% deposit with the remainder paid within 4 weeks of the order date.

POSTAGE
I post in pre-paid bags and send items via Registered Post (excluding beanies or smaller items). I have included this as a flat rate of $5.50 (I pay for the registration) but if your order needs a 500g-3kg bag I will send an updated invoice.

CUSTOM ORDERS
I will be taking on a certain number of custom orders per month. I will keep a product listing which has the customs for each month with notes as to the progress of each item.

Most of the patterns I use do go from newborn to size 2-5. If you would like a custom order please feel free to contact me on stitchymama@gmail.com, I will give you a quote and let you know what the waiting time would be.


EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
Please contact me if you have any problems with my products whatsoever.

I am careful to list the actual measurements of the items I sell. Also, I will always preview for a couple of days before a stocking. The aim of this is to enable the buyer to measure their child to ensure the garments will fit properly.

If, despite this, you still have a problem with a product please contact me. Exchanges and Refunds will assessed on a case by case basis and associated postage costs will be at the customers expense unless there is a fault (not sizing related) with the item purchased.

DESIGNS
StitchyMama Handknits use a range of different patterns. I am licensed or have permission to use ALL the patterns used for my stock. Some of these patterns include the Curly Purly Soaker and waistband, Ladybug Loops Pants and shorts, Over the Moon's Juliette (skirted soaker), Jacki Kelly's range of Seamless knits, TiKKi's range of seamless patterns, plus a number of other patterns.

Some of the items I sell have been made using my own patterns. They can NOT be reproduced without my written permission. Thank you for understanding this and respecting the time and effort that goes into designing items of clothing.

PRODUCT SAFETY
Please be aware that some StitchyMama Handknits products do contain things such as elastic, buttons etc which can be broken, pulled off by your babies and children. My products are definitely not toys and some of their elements could pose a serious choking hazard as with any clothing item. Please be aware of this and ensure to check the strength and safety of each item before each use.
